Salim has over 18 years' experience in providing professional services across various sectors that include insurance, floriculture, horticulture, manufacturing, trading, education and NGOs.  

Professional Qualifications and Memberships:

Salim holds the following qualifications and memberships:

• Fellow of the  Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK - FCCA
• Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya – CPA (K)
• Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda – CPA (U)

Key Experience:

Salim Heads the Data Analytics Service Line at PKF in Eastern Africa and is responsible for implementing data analytics tools in assignments with big data to improve the quality of audits, as well as provide clients with insights about their businesses using data.

He has extensive experience in audit and assurance, including group of companies audits and assurance, corporate finance transaction services, accounting advisory, tax advisory, resolving tax matters with revenue authorities and procedure reviews.

Salim has carried out various technical training for clients in Kenya and Tanzania as well as the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).

Salim is part of the Technical and Training Committee for the firm and is involved in coordinating and presenting at various external and internal seminars.
