Professional Experience

Darshan has over 20 years' experience in providing professional services in the East African region. Darshan is currently the Head of Audit & Assurance at PKF in the Eastern Africa region. 

Professional Qualifications and Memberships:

Darshan holds the following qualifications and memberships:

• Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Kenya - CPA (K)

• Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK - FCCA, UK

• Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Uganda - CPA (U)

• Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, UK - ACA

Key Experience:

Darshan has led audit and assurance engagements, has been involved in financial due diligence, tax re-structuring and family succession planning engagements. He has significant transaction advisory experience in mergers and acquisitions.

He is a member of the PKF East Africa Technical Committee and also oversees our regional training. Darshan is also the co-author of the Wiley International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Interpretations Guide 2014 - 2020 and has extensive knowledge and experience of IFRS.
