Perfomance Management

What is it?

Successful organisations have a clear view of how well they are performing against their competitors or industry-standard benchmarks. Performance management is about measuring and raising actual performance or reducing expenditure (without reducing performance) for the benefit all stakeholders.

What we do

We provide a full range of performance improvement services for clients enhancing their businesses and considering improvement programmes. We help to determine exactly what is needed and what can be done most effectively within the constraints of the available resources, time and cost.

Our performance-improvement services can be used at any time during a change programme or from time to time as the need dictates in ‘health-checks’ to report on the current situation and make recommendations to enhance or improve an aspect of business operation. The following are typical service assignments, helping clients:

  • To undertake investigatory and feasibility studies designed to improve performance in any specific organisational operation, generally focusing on management and operational efficiency, and financial and quality control
  • In Business Process Re-Engineering, to deliver a wide range of business benefits including efficiency savings, transformation of organisation culture to one delivering value from the customer’s viewpoint, reduction of cross functional bottlenecks, improved team working with interdisciplinary work groups focusing on process improvement, less waste and delivery of more relevant management information
  • In Benchmarking, assessing how comparable organisations, or similar business processes within otherwise dissimilar businesses, operate. We can advise and assist organisation seeking to benchmark their performance
  • To perform market testing to determine the feasibility, practicality and performance advantages of contracting out in-house service provision to external agencies.
