Salim has extensive experience in audit and other services lines including forensic audits, corporate finance transaction services, accounting advisory, tax restructuring, resolving tax matters with revenue authorities and procedure reviews. In addition to this, he has carried out various technical training for clients in Kenya and Tanzania as well as the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).

He has over 11 years experience in various service lines. He also serves as a panellist for the FiRe Awards (Financial Reporting Awards) jointly held by ICPAK and the Nairobi Securities Exchange each year.

Salim is part of the Technical and Training Committee for the firm and is involved in coordinating and presenting at various external and internal seminars. He has carried out technical training for Safaricom, Oserian Development, Kenya Commercial Bank (Tanzania) and East African Sea Food as well as client seminars in Kenya.
